The 60 Years Project is a presentation of Barmy Old Codger, otherwise known as Andrew Martin Adamson. The original idea was to record songs written by The Beatles and release them on their 60th anniversaries, starting with the ones John and Paul wrote as teenagers but never recorded when The Beatles were famous. That idea eventually transformed into simply writing about what The Beatles were up to 60 years ago using social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Then, in November 2019, The Barmy Beatle Blog was born so that more detailed information could be related about those 60-year anniversaries.
That is still what we do today. Each day you can find us on Facebook and Twitter talking about that day in Beatles history 60 years previous. And every Friday a new blog entry is put out.
In the future, maybe we will release some music. Maybe we'll start a podcast. And maybe we'll write a much-needed Beatles book. Ha! Who knows? But we're glad you're here reading this and that you must love The Beatles if you found yourself here! Have fun!
